| I wanted a good quality noise canceling mic to record Tutorials. I was using the laptop's internal mic which was pretty decent but was recording the internal noise from the laptop fans as well. After considering some headsets with mic, I chose this one as it does not record my breathing sounds due to the distance from my mouth/face. The quality of the recording was very clean. I would not consider it very portable when compared to a headset/earphones with mic due to the size, but it works for me as I don't really travel with it much. |

I play World of Warcraft and communications is a vital part in raiding. I used to use a high quality headset and mic, but after a few hours, my ears began to hurt. I looked for another option.
Now, I bought this microphone to do some recording awhile back and didn't even think about using it for gaming. Since the headset was not an option anymore, I tried this microphone. I hooked it up, configured Ventrilo and World of Warcraft and lo and behold it worked perfect.
Any gamer out there that does not use this microphone is missing out on a great product. Try it and you will never go back to a headset again. Now my Sons want one really bad. I ordered two of them from for an overnight shipping. Boy, will they be surprised when I give it to them.
