The Superwinch EPi9.0 Series Master Winch is designed to provide both power and performance for 4x4s and other heavy vehicles through its blend of high efficiency drawing power and additional top-of-the-line features. Its efficient 4.6 hp series wound motor easily attaches to, and is powered by, your primary car battery or an auxiliary installed battery (recommended in cases of heavy winch use). The motor features a 9,000 lb line pull rating, both load in and load out drum rotation for mechanized movement of winch rope, a full metal 3-stage planetary gear box and an accessible lift and turn freespooling clutch allowing users to quickly disengage the motor and manually draw out as much winch rope as needed, at any time.

The winch utilizes a 100-foot length of high performance 21/64-inch wire rope, with red color-coated warning indication on the wire alerting you when you are five feet from the end of the length. This provides strength and durability without compromising the safety of the unit. This tough, heavy duty winch wire connects easily to the clevis pin and hook and is protected from wear during angled pulls as it slides along the heavy duty, 4-way, roller fairlead (fairlead attaches to mounting plate, sold separately).

Safety is an important consideration with any piece of machinery. With this in mind the Superwinch EPi9.0 Series Master Winch features a wealth of valuable safety features. These include bi-directional automatic load holding and braking outside of drum to minimize the possibility of winch rope slippage in the event of power failure or surge, to provide quick stopping of the drum and minimize heat buildup in the drum; a sealed submersible solenoid to ensure safe, reliable, electromagnetic power in all weather conditions; and a rubberized remote switch with a 12-foot extension cable, allowing for safe distances between the user and winch in all situations.

Superwinch, LLC warrants to the original buyer that the mechanical components of all genuine Superwinch winch models shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship from the date of purchase of new products for the lifetime of the winch and that the electrical components shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the provable date of purchase, or otherwise specified time period. Any product that Superwinch determines to be defective will be repaired or replaced at Superwinch’s discretion without charge to buyer upon buyer’s compliance with disclosed procedures.
